The journey from a piece of art to a finished framed wall hanging is a complex process using the right materials (elements) and the right tools. Some tools are modern and state-of-the-art and others are traditional and timeless. Hand tools and ruler measurements are essential to the hand crafted approach Mulberry Gallery utilizes.
Other detail finishes are done with fine-line ink pens. Brushes are used to paint bevels in matching or contrasting colors. Both very traditional techniques have been used for the past 100 years and add a level of sophistication to the framing package.
Whether it is a modern computer-controlled mat cutter, or a 100 year old Morso chopper, all tools we use are necessary to ultimately create the one-of-a-kind framing projects that will live on your walls providing enjoyment for years.
