Abstraction in its Truest Form

Bio

I am Owen. My life, both professionally and personally, has been lived in the arts. I see the daily world as a continuous flow of patterns, shapes and colors. My work is an interpretation of all I see around me presented in the abstract forms on my canvases.

THE PAINT SPEAKS

I consider myself as much an artist as an interpreter. Abstraction, in its truest form, is a dialog between the message and the viewer. The paint speaks and the viewer brings it to life.

For me, every day is. As such, I have no expectations for the painting. I will produce. Every undertaking is a journey with no destination.

I hope that you will follow my journey through my paintings. View Some of My Work on my personal Mulberry Gallery below. You can Purchase My Art at The Mulberry Gallery store.

To experience the world through my eyes is to see beyond the realistic. With imagination, one can shed the limitations of what is seen and journey into all the possibilities of line, shape, volume, color and shade.

Owen’s Musings

I invite you to follow my thoughts about and observations on that thing called “art”. Sometimes the back story on the creation of art can enhance the appreciation of it. My journal entries will be random art explorations and I invite to you come along for the journey.

Is it the journey, or the destination? The creation of art is both.
