Making a mistake when hanging framed art on the wall is one of the most common fears we all have. Here is Del’s easy DIY solution to ensure that art ends up hanging right where you want it.
This is such an easy way to position and hang framed art on the wall. You will need:
Art framed with glass (no canvass for this technique)
One free wooden paint striper from the paint store
One wood screw
Screw the wood screw through the stirrer and leave a ¼ inch gap between the head and wood stirrer for the hanging wire from art to be placed.
Hook the hanging wire over the screw head. Position the art the way you like it on the wall. Press gently to that the end of the wood screw makes a light dimple on the wall.
Subtract the length of the hanger and install. Done!
Done! And done well!
