Linda Pope witnessed one of the most creative art periods in Santa Cruz spanning 1985 through 2012. Courageously opening The Pope Gallery right after the 1985 earthquake in downtown Santa Cruz she continued her role as curator of the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery at UCSC.
Her own art chronicles and reflects the personalities and the energy of that era. Using techniques ranging from polaroid transfer to solarization she takes you on a visual journey sharing her unique perspective of that exciting time.
